The Good People Group is seeking a Website Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize company websites, ensuring they remain secure, functional, and up to date.

This role is responsible for website content management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing SEO best practices, and supporting overall website functionality. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to improve user experience and maintain a professional online presence.

The ideal candidate has experience managing websites on platforms such as WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace and possesses a strong blend of technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Website Management & Maintenance

  • Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance
  • Manage website pages, media, and site structure across supported platforms
  • Ensure websites remain current, functional, and aligned with business objectives
  • Perform routine website maintenance and updates

Website Performance & Security

  • Monitor website uptime and overall performance
  • Identify and address performance issues affecting speed and usability
  • Implement security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats
  • Take proactive measures to minimize downtime and technical disruptions

SEO & Website Optimization

  • Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility
  • Optimize website content and structure for improved discoverability
  • Monitor website analytics and performance metrics
  • Support initiatives that improve user experience and engagement

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve website issues including broken links, page errors, and loading problems
  • Perform minor website modifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Troubleshoot functionality issues and coordinate solutions when necessary
  • Ensure websites operate efficiently across devices and browsers

Collaboration & User Experience

  • Work closely with internal teams to support website-related initiatives
  • Recommend improvements to website functionality and user experience
  • Assist with implementing new features and content updates
  • Support ongoing digital and marketing efforts through website enhancements

Requirements

Experience

  • Experience managing websites using WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar content management systems
  • Experience updating website content and maintaining website functionality
  • Experience monitoring website performance and resolving technical issues
  • Familiarity with SEO implementation and website optimization

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar platforms
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools
  • Understanding of website security and maintenance practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical website issues
