Overview / Job Description

A fast-growing marketing services company is seeking an Audio / Video Editor to support its expanding content production team. This fully remote contract role focuses on editing, producing, and repurposing long-form and short-form multimedia content across multiple client accounts, including podcasts, YouTube videos, and social media content.

The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong technical editing skills who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and is passionate about producing engaging, high-quality multimedia content optimized for digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Podcast & Long-Form Content Editing

• Edit podcast episodes for both audio and video distribution
• Edit long-form YouTube videos while maintaining quality, pacing, and audience engagement
• Improve audio quality through cleanup, leveling, and sound optimization
• Ensure all content aligns with client branding and marketing objectives

Short-Form Content Creation

• Create YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn clips, and other platform-specific content
• Repurpose long-form content into multiple engaging short-form assets
• Add captions, graphics, transitions, branding elements, and visual enhancements
• Identify and extract high-impact moments to maximize audience engagement

Content Production & Workflow Management

• Organize and maintain content libraries, project files, and production assets
• Manage multiple client accounts and production schedules simultaneously
• Deliver high-quality content on time while maintaining production standards
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, social media managers, and marketing teams

Creative Innovation & Process Improvement

• Stay current with video editing trends, platform best practices, and emerging technologies
• Utilize AI-powered editing and content repurposing tools to improve workflow efficiency
• Recommend process improvements that enhance production quality and scalability
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve creative output

Requirements

Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in audio and video editing
• Experience editing podcasts and YouTube content
• Experience producing both long-form and short-form multimedia content
• Experience managing content for multiple clients or brands simultaneously
• Agency experience preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and content optimization
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience using Descript, Riverside, CapCut, and DaVinci Resolve
• Experience with Adobe After Effects (preferred)
• Familiarity with AI-powered editing and content repurposing tools
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality production
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
