Overview / Job Description

Binance is seeking a Macro Research Intern to join its Binance Accelerator Program (BAP)—a fixed-term internship designed for early-career professionals interested in the rapidly evolving Web3 and blockchain industry.

As part of the Macro Research team within Binance Research, the successful candidate will contribute to research covering macroeconomic trends, cryptocurrency markets, blockchain innovation, regulation, market structure, and emerging industry themes. This role offers hands-on experience supporting institutional-grade research while working alongside experienced researchers whose work reaches global institutions, media outlets, and the wider crypto community.

Responsibilities

Research Support

• Support the Macro Research team throughout the research lifecycle.
• Assist with data gathering, fact-checking, drafting, and chart production.
• Contribute to industry reports and thematic research publications.
• Ensure research outputs maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.

Market Research & Analysis

• Track macroeconomic and cryptocurrency market developments.
• Monitor topics including:
  • Interest rates
  • Liquidity
  • Capital flows
  • Market structure
  • Regulatory developments
  • Emerging blockchain trends
• Analyze market data, on-chain data, and other research sources to identify meaningful insights.

Data & Visualization

• Build and maintain datasets supporting research activities.
• Develop charts, models, and visualizations for research publications.
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable analysis.

Collaboration & Learning

• Work closely with the Macro Research team on ongoing research initiatives.
• Develop practical research, analytical, and data visualization skills.
• Participate in networking and professional development opportunities offered through the Binance Accelerator Program.

Requirements

Experience

• Current university student or recent graduate.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous research experience is not required.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 technologies.
• Good understanding of the cryptocurrency industry.
• Familiarity with macroeconomics and financial markets is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Technical Skills

• Data analysis and interpretation.
• Chart creation and data visualization.
• Familiarity with financial data tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of on-chain analytics is a plus.
• Experience working with datasets and quantitative analysis is beneficial.

Availability

• Able to commit a minimum of 3 days per week.
• Available for at least 6 months.

Education

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related disciplines preferred.
