Overview / Job Description

Codekeeper is seeking a Digital Product Designer to join its Growth team and help shape the user experience of its SaaS software escrow platform. This fully remote role focuses on translating customer needs into intuitive user journeys, designing engaging interfaces, and collaborating closely with Product Managers, Creative Directors, and developers to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

The ideal candidate is a creative, user-centered designer with strong UI/UX skills, excellent visual design capabilities, and an interest in product management. This role combines user research, interaction design, prototyping, and design system development in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment.

Responsibilities

UI/UX Design

• Translate customer needs into intuitive user journeys and interface designs
• Design visually appealing, user-friendly digital experiences
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs
• Develop user scenarios and use cases to support product development
• Ensure consistency across product interfaces and user experiences

Product Design & Research

• Collaborate with the Product Manager and Creative Director on product discovery
• Conduct user research to understand customer needs and behaviors
• Prototype and validate new product concepts and user experiences
• Transform ideas into functional product designs ready for development

Design Systems & Visual Assets

• Create visual assets for product implementation
• Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, and symbol libraries
• Document design guidelines and specifications for development teams
• Ensure design consistency across all product features

Collaboration & Communication

• Present design concepts and deliverables to stakeholders and leadership
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Communicate design decisions clearly and effectively
• Contribute ideas that improve the overall product experience

Requirements

Experience

• Experience designing digital products or SaaS applications
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows
• Experience working collaboratively with product and development teams
• Experience maintaining design systems is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong UI/UX design skills
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles
• Strong visual design abilities, including:
  • Color theory
  • Typography
  • Layout and visual hierarchy
• Strong English copywriting skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
• Strong creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and collaborative mindset

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Figma (preferred design tool)
• Access to a Mac for design work
• Experience analyzing user journeys
• Experience working with design systems and component/symbol libraries
• Ability to create prototypes, mockups, and production-ready design assets
