Overview / Job Description

Codekeeper is seeking an Experienced Full Stack Developer (JavaScript) to build and maintain scalable web applications for its SaaS software escrow platform. This fully remote role focuses on developing high-quality full-stack solutions using modern JavaScript technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced JavaScript engineer with strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and relational databases, who is passionate about building scalable software and delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications
• Build high-quality, efficient, and maintainable software solutions
• Develop modern frontend applications using React and Next.js
• Implement robust backend functionality and API integrations

Software Engineering

• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues

Collaboration & Product Development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features
• Participate in technical discussions and code reviews
• Contribute ideas that improve architecture, performance, and development processes
• Support continuous improvement of engineering best practices

Quality & Deployment

• Develop automated tests to ensure software quality
• Work with version control and collaborative development workflows
• Support application deployment and continuous integration processes
• Maintain secure, reliable, and production-ready applications

Requirements

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React
• 3+ years of experience with Next.js (App Router) and GraphQL/Apollo
• Experience building modern full-stack web applications

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Expertise in React and Context API
• Strong experience with Next.js (App Router)
• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS
• Experience using Git, GitHub, or GitLab
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Jest with React Testing Library
• Experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Familiarity with ORMs such as Prisma or Drizzle
• Experience with authentication solutions including Cognito, Auth0, or NextAuth.js
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
• Service-oriented mindset and passion for software development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda or Vercel
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Vercel, or Netlify
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Chart.js or Google Charts
• Experience working with AWS services
