Overview / Job Description

Coalition Technologies is a fully remote digital marketing agency seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Front End Developer to build responsive, high-performance, and pixel-perfect web experiences. The company has supported remote professionals for over a decade and provides a collaborative, growth-focused work environment.

The Front End Developer will transform design files into responsive HTML/CSS templates, develop frontend functionality across multiple web platforms, optimize user experiences, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client websites. The role requires expertise in modern frontend technologies, responsive development, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Front-End Development

• Convert complex PSD layouts into pixel-perfect HTML5/CSS3 templates.
• Build responsive, mobile-friendly websites across multiple platforms.
• Develop and extend frontend functionality for websites and web applications.
• Extend themes, plugins, and other frontend components as required.

Responsive Design & Performance

• Develop responsive layouts using modern CSS techniques and media queries.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility across major web browsers.
• Optimize frontend assets and images for performance and user experience.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and high-quality frontend code.

Collaboration & Development Workflow

• Work with design assets created in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project teams.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Project Delivery

• Manage multiple frontend development projects simultaneously.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high coding standards.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Experience

• Strong experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience using frontend frameworks or libraries such as React, Vue, AngularJS, or similar technologies.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience building responsive websites using CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap.
• Experience debugging frontend issues using Chrome DevTools.
• Experience using AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Cursor, or similar coding assistants.
• Experience working with WordPress, BigCommerce, Magento, Shopify, or eCommerce websites is preferred.
• Experience with PHP, MySQL, AJAX, and frontend performance optimization is an advantage.

Work Schedule

• Full-time.
• Monday–Friday.
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT).
