The Global Mobility Business Lead (Assignments) is a strategic leadership role responsible for owning and scaling WorkFlex’s Assignment Module. Acting as a business owner within the company, this individual will oversee strategy, profitability, growth, product direction, vendor partnerships, and market expansion. The role combines deep global mobility expertise with business leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and product innovation to shape the future of assignment management in the AI era.

Responsibilities

Business Ownership & Strategy

• Own the full P&L for the Assignment Module
• Develop and execute growth, pricing, profitability, and expansion strategies
• Define the long-term vision for global assignment management
• Drive business performance, margins, and operational success

Product Leadership & Innovation

• Partner closely with Product Management to shape product vision and roadmap
• Ensure a seamless, user-centric experience for customers
• Influence the development of next-generation assignment management solutions
• Help define how technology and AI transform global mobility processes

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead an international, cross-functional team within a matrix organization
• Coordinate efforts across Compliance, Vendor Management, Product, and Engineering teams
• Align stakeholders around strategic priorities and execution plans
• Drive collaboration between operational and technical functions

Market Expansion & Commercial Growth

• Support go-to-market initiatives across DACH, Nordics, UKI, and additional regions
• Enable international sales teams to successfully position and sell solutions
• Identify growth opportunities and support market expansion efforts
• Contribute to revenue growth and customer acquisition objectives

Vendor & Partner Management

• Scale and optimize the vendor ecosystem supporting assignment services
• Strengthen partnerships that support WorkFlex’s end-to-end client offering
• Ensure service quality and operational excellence across vendors
• Deliver a seamless client experience through integrated service delivery

Thought Leadership & Brand Advocacy

• Represent WorkFlex at industry events, webinars, and conferences
• Contribute to marketing initiatives and market education efforts
• Establish credibility as a subject matter expert in global mobility
• Promote innovative approaches to international assignment management

Requirements

Experience

• Extensive experience in Global Mobility with a strong focus on international assignments
• Deep understanding of assignment-related compliance, operational challenges, and client requirements
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
• Proven ability to drive business performance and strategic growth
• Experience working with international markets and global workforce programs
