Their platform transforms expert knowledge into high-quality datasets that accelerate breakthroughs in AI model development.

The Human Data Manager role sits at the intersection of data operations, technology, and business process optimization. This fully remote position focuses on managing and improving workflows that support the creation, validation, and optimization of high-signal training data used in AI systems.

This role is ideal for technically minded individuals—particularly ambitious recent graduates—who are eager to work in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the development of next-generation AI systems through data-driven operations.


 Responsibilities

Product & Training Mastery

  • Develop a deep understanding of micro1’s data infrastructure, AI training workflows, and operational processes.

  • Participate in onboarding, training sessions, and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

  • Stay up-to-date on evolving best practices for data annotation, dataset management, and quality control.

Data Operations & Execution

  • Design, build, and manage scalable data workflows for annotation, collection, processing, and analysis.

  • Coordinate data-related tasks to ensure efficient execution across teams and systems.

  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity and reliability.

Performance & KPI Management

  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track operational performance and efficiency.

  • Analyze datasets to identify patterns, issues, and improvement opportunities.

  • Deliver data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to optimize processes.

Reporting & Data Infrastructure

  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to track operational metrics and performance trends.

  • Ensure consistent measurement of data quality, workflow throughput, and operational improvements.

  • Support strategic decision-making through structured data analysis and reporting.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and data teams to align data strategies with business objectives.

  • Continuously refine operational processes to ensure scalability and maintain data integrity.

  • Take ownership of identifying operational challenges and proactively implementing solutions.


Requirements

Experience

  • Experience in data analysis, data annotation, or workflow optimization.

  • Familiarity with operational processes and improving system efficiency.

  • Exposure to data management, AI/ML workflows, or process optimization through projects, internships, or work experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret datasets and derive actionable insights.

  • Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • High attention to detail when managing data accuracy and validation.

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and handle complex operational challenges.
