Measure Marketing Results Inc. is seeking a Junior WordPress Developer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of modern, visually appealing, and user-friendly websites.

As a member of the development team, you will work closely with designers, copywriters, project managers, and developers to build responsive websites using WordPress, Elementor, and modern front-end technologies. This role offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring web developers to strengthen their technical skills while gaining hands-on experience in website development, performance optimization, and digital marketing environments.

Responsibilities

WordPress Development

• Assist in building and maintaining WordPress websites
• Create and update website pages using Elementor and other WordPress page builders
• Manage website content, layouts, themes, and plugins
• Support minor WordPress customizations and enhancements
• Maintain website functionality and user experience standards

Front-End Development

• Develop responsive website layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Implement designs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Convert Figma designs into functional WordPress pages
• Ensure consistency across different browsers and screen sizes
• Support the implementation of interactive website elements

UI/UX & Interactive Experiences

• Implement animations and visual effects to enhance user engagement
• Support the integration of interactive design elements
• Ensure websites remain visually appealing and easy to navigate
• Contribute to improving user experience and usability

Website Optimization

• Assist with website performance improvements
• Support search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility
• Monitor and address usability issues
• Ensure websites meet modern web standards

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Identify and resolve front-end issues under guidance from senior developers
• Test websites across browsers and devices
• Troubleshoot layout, styling, and functionality issues
• Support ongoing website maintenance and updates

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with designers to implement visual concepts accurately
• Collaborate with copywriters to ensure proper content integration
• Coordinate with developers and project managers on project requirements
• Participate in team discussions and development initiatives

Requirements

Education

• No degree required

Experience

• Entry-level position
• Hands-on experience with WordPress and Elementor
• Experience building or maintaining websites using WordPress page builders
• Experience converting design files into responsive web pages
• Portfolio or project experience demonstrating WordPress development skills is preferred

Technical Skills

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML5
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of CSS3
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript
• Working knowledge of jQuery
• Understanding of WordPress CMS
• Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugins
• Basic PHP knowledge for minor customizations
• Experience using Elementor or similar page builders
• Ability to convert Figma designs into WordPress websites
• Understanding of responsive web design principles

• Experience with GSAP animation library
