In this role, you’ll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about advancing the field and leveraging their knowledge in a digital, remote engagement.

Scope of Work

Review, assess, and annotate technical materials datasets, literature, and documentation for accuracy and clarity.
Formulate comprehensive explanations of advanced materials science concepts tailored to non-expert and expert audiences.
Evaluate and provide feedback on AI-generated content related to materials engineering, metallurgy, and related disciplines.
Develop and validate domain-specific scenarios, case studies, or problem sets for AI training purposes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams to define and refine data requirements and quality benchmarks.
Ensure that all deliverables meet established scientific standards and project specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

MS or PhD in Materials Science & Engineering, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field with a focus on materials specialization.
Extensive experience in materials characterization, processing, selection, or testing across various applications.
Proven ability to communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal formats with clarity and precision.
Proficiency in reviewing scientific literature and interpreting experimental data.
Familiarity with digital tools for remote collaboration and technical content review.
Demonstrated track record of publishing or contributing to scholarly work in material sciences is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work products.
