Overview / Job Description

Codekeeper is seeking a Product Manager to lead the design and development of intuitive, user-centered experiences for its SaaS Source Code Escrow platform. This fully remote role combines product strategy, UX/UI design, user research, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product decisions align with customer needs and business objectives.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in product or UX/UI design, strategic thinking, and user experience, with the ability to translate business requirements into engaging digital products. This role requires ownership of the product design process from concept through implementation in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Management

• Ensure product features are well-structured, functional, and aligned with business objectives
• Translate customer needs and business requirements into product designs ready for development
• Drive product decisions that balance usability, accessibility, and business impact
• Support the continuous improvement of the product experience

UX/UI Design & Product Development

• Own the design process from concept to implementation
• Create intuitive, engaging user experiences and interfaces
• Utilize the ShadCN design library to assemble product screens and UI components
• Develop user cases, user scenarios, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and interaction flows

User Research & Design

• Conduct user research to understand customer needs and behaviors
• Analyze user journeys to improve product usability and engagement
• Apply data-informed design decisions to optimize user experiences
• Create visual assets and design guidelines for implementation

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Creative Directors, Designers, and Developers
• Present design concepts and communicate product decisions to stakeholders
• Ensure design specifications are clearly documented for development teams

Requirements

Experience

• Strong experience in Product Management, UX/UI Design, Product Design, or a related field
• Experience leading product design from concept through implementation
• Experience conducting user research and journey mapping
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and product mockups

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with Figma
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Strategic product thinking with consideration for usability, accessibility, and business impact
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Experience analyzing user journeys and customer behavior
• Ability to work with design systems and symbol libraries
• Strong English copywriting and written communication skills
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Additional Requirements

• Experience analyzing user journeys
• Experience working with design systems and reusable component libraries
• Access to a Mac with Figma (or preference for using this setup)
• Familiarity with the ShadCN design library
