HostPapa is seeking a Senior AI-Enabled Full Stack Developer to lead the integration of artificial intelligence into its product ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product innovation, and AI systems design, focusing on building scalable, intelligent, and user-centric applications. The ideal candidate will combine strong full-stack engineering expertise with practical experience applying AI tools and workflows to improve product performance, development speed, and user experience.

You will play a key role in shaping architecture decisions, building modern web applications, and introducing AI-driven capabilities that deliver measurable business value.

Responsibilities: 

Full-Stack Development & Architecture

• Build and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js, TypeScript, shadcn/ui, Supabase/Postgres, and edge functions
• Design scalable system architectures and break them into actionable engineering components
• Ensure applications are performant, secure, and cost-efficient in production

AI Integration & Innovation

• Develop AI-driven workflows to enhance product functionality and engineering productivity
• Integrate and evaluate LLMs and AI systems within applications
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining correctness and reliability

Engineering Leadership & Collaboration

• Influence product direction by advocating for user-first technical decisions
• Collaborate asynchronously with global product, design, and operations teams
• Lead code reviews and mentor other engineers to uphold engineering best practices

Quality, Performance & Optimization

• Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and security
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
• Build comprehensive testing coverage including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

Product & User Impact

• Translate user needs into robust technical solutions
• Challenge assumptions and contribute to product thinking
• Ensure engineering decisions align with measurable user and business value

Requirements: 

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in production web application development
• 3+ years of experience with React/Next.js (preferably Next.js 14+)
• Strong background in full-stack engineering and system design
• Experience integrating AI/LLM systems into production environments

Technical Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and modern React patterns
• Strong experience with Postgres/MySQL databases
• Strong knowledge of API design, system architecture, and backend development
• Experience with CI/CD automation and production deployment pipelines
• Strong testing discipline (unit, integration, and E2E testing)

AI & Emerging Technology

• Hands-on experience using and evaluating AI/LLM tools
• Strong interest in practical, production-grade AI applications
• Ability to integrate AI into real-world workflows effectively
