20four7VA is seeking a Senior Web Developer to support clients with real estate and property development-focused website projects. The role involves building sophisticated, content-rich, and data-driven websites that effectively showcase residential, commercial, mixed-use, and master-planned developments.

This position requires a highly independent developer with strong design sensibilities, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of user behavior in the real estate sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering polished websites that combine exceptional user experience, strong SEO performance, and modern AI-driven functionality.

The role is ideal for experienced web developers who can independently manage projects from planning through launch while maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and usability.

Responsibilities

Website Development & Project Ownership

• Lead end-to-end development of real estate and development-focused websites
• Build full multi-page websites from planning through deployment
• Develop and maintain site architecture, navigation systems, and page hierarchies
• Ensure responsive functionality across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Deliver projects with minimal supervision and oversight

User Experience & Design Implementation

• Create clean, visually consistent layouts with professional spacing and alignment
• Maintain strong visual hierarchy and intuitive user navigation
• Ensure seamless user experiences that support buyer engagement and conversion
• Recommend UX/UI improvements based on user behavior and industry best practices

SEO & Technical Optimization

• Implement on-page SEO best practices throughout website development
• Optimize metadata, URL structures, headings, schema markup, and internal linking
• Improve site performance, speed, and search visibility
• Ensure websites are technically optimized for search engines and user experience

AI & Advanced Website Functionality

• Implement AI-powered website enhancements and automation tools
• Integrate chatbots, intelligent search functionality, and AI-assisted lead funnels
• Support AI-driven content strategies and smart user experiences
• Evaluate emerging technologies that improve website performance and lead generation

Quality Assurance & Performance Management

• Conduct comprehensive self-testing and quality assurance reviews
• Verify functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
• Ensure websites meet performance and usability standards before launch
• Identify and resolve technical issues proactively

Communication & Collaboration

• Provide clear written updates on project progress and task completion
• Communicate blockers, risks, and technical recommendations
• Collaborate with stakeholders while maintaining ownership of deliverables
• Support continuous website improvements and optimization initiatives

Experience

• Proven experience developing real estate, development, residential, commercial, or mixed-use property websites
• Extensive experience managing full website projects from planning through launch
• Experience working with content-heavy and data-driven websites
• Senior-level web development expertise

Other Information

Work Schedule

• Contracted Hours: 20 hours per week
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM EST
• Fully remote independent contractor role
