Overview / Job Description

Sagan Recruitment is building an Active Talent Pool for Software Engineers and Developers across a wide range of technical specialties, including frontend, backend, full-stack development, systems administration, IT support, Salesforce and NetSuite administration, automation, and AI/ML engineering.

This is not an immediate opening but an opportunity to join Sagan’s network of technical professionals. The role requires working during U.S. business hours while delivering high-quality software solutions for U.S.-based companies.

Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications, systems, and integrations.
• Write clean, well-documented, maintainable, and testable code.
• Translate business and technical requirements into reliable software solutions.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

System Maintenance & Optimization

• Debug applications and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct code reviews and optimize application performance.
• Maintain software reliability, security, and scalability.
• Monitor deployed applications and provide ongoing support.

Automation & Platform Administration

• Build automations and integrations between business tools and platforms.
• Customize and administer platforms such as:
  • Salesforce
  • NetSuite
  • WordPress
• Support platform configuration and workflow improvements when required.

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software features.
• Communicate project progress, technical trade-offs, and blockers.
• Take ownership of deliverables from development through deployment.

Requirements

Experience

• Proven experience in:
  • Frontend development
  • Backend development
  • Full-stack development
  • Or related technical roles
• Experience building production software applications.
• Experience with software development best practices.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with one or more of the following:
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • Python
  • React
  • Node.js
  • PHP
• Experience with one or more specialized areas:
  • Cloud platforms
  • DevOps
  • Automation tools
  • Salesforce Administration
  • NetSuite Administration
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Machine Learning (ML)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking.
