Overview / Job Description

Advantage HQ is seeking an experienced Talent Manager to source, evaluate, and onboard top creative professionals to support high-performing marketing campaigns. This fully remote role focuses on identifying exceptional creative talent—including editors, designers, strategists, and UGC creators—while managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process and ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.

The ideal candidate has strong recruitment experience within creative industries, excels at assessing both technical ability and cultural fit, and is skilled at building long-term talent pipelines that support business growth.

Responsibilities

Talent Sourcing & Recruitment

  • Proactively source and shortlist high-quality creative talent, including editors, designers, strategists, and UGC creators
  • Utilize sourcing platforms such as Casting Networks, Billo, Fiverr, Upwork, and similar tools
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Identify exceptional creative professionals aligned with company standards

Candidate Assessment & Onboarding

  • Conduct screening interviews to evaluate technical skills, communication abilities, and cultural fit
  • Lead briefing calls with prospective talent to explain project requirements and expectations
  • Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from outreach through onboarding
  • Deliver a professional and seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process

Collaboration & Workforce Planning

  • Partner closely with Creative Leadership to identify hiring priorities and talent gaps
  • Support workforce planning for creative projects and campaigns
  • Align talent acquisition efforts with business and campaign objectives

Talent Operations & Quality Assurance

  • Maintain organized talent databases and tracking systems using spreadsheets
  • Perform quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) reviews of submitted creative content
  • Ensure deliverables meet brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and creative standards before final approval

Market Research & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed on creative industry trends and evolving talent standards
  • Continuously improve sourcing strategies and recruitment processes
  • Develop long-term relationships with high-performing creative professionals

Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a:
    • Talent Manager
    • Creative Recruiter
    • Talent Acquisition Specialist
    • Similar recruitment role
  • Proven experience sourcing and hiring creative professionals
  • Experience working closely with creative teams
  • Experience evaluating creative portfolios, reels, and case studies

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to assess technical skills, soft skills, cultural fit, and creative potential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple hiring projects simultaneously
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable conducting candidate interviews and briefing calls

Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with sourcing platforms including:
    • Casting Networks
    • Billo
    • Fiverr
    • Upwork
  • Experience using spreadsheets and recruitment tracking tools
  • Understanding of creative recruitment workflows and freelance hiring

Preferred Experience

  • Experience recruiting for UGC or DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) brands
  • Experience hiring freelance or project-based creative professionals
  • Existing network within the creative, advertising, or content creation industries
