The Talent Source Intern will join United Tech’s Source Up internship program, a one-month paid internship designed for individuals who have completed sourcing courses and are ready to apply their knowledge to real hiring projects. Working alongside the Talent Acquisition team, interns will gain hands-on experience sourcing candidates for live vacancies, receive mentorship from a dedicated buddy, and have the opportunity to transition into a permanent Talent Acquisition role based on performance.

Responsibilities

Candidate Sourcing

• Source candidates for real United Tech vacancies.
• Identify qualified talent using modern sourcing tools and techniques.
• Develop and test sourcing strategies and search hypotheses.
• Perform Boolean searches across multiple sourcing platforms.
• Explore various candidate sourcing channels.

Candidate Engagement

• Conduct initial outreach and communication with potential candidates.
• Maintain candidate engagement throughout the sourcing process.
• Represent United Tech professionally during candidate interactions.

Search Optimization

• Analyze sourcing performance and search effectiveness.
• Improve sourcing strategies based on feedback and results.
• Continuously refine candidate search techniques.

Learning & Collaboration

• Work closely with an assigned Talent Acquisition mentor (buddy).
• Apply coaching and feedback to improve sourcing performance.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on active recruitment projects.
• Develop practical recruiting skills through real-world experience.

Requirements

Experience

• Completion of candidate sourcing training or sourcing courses.
• Strong theoretical understanding of talent sourcing methodologies.
• Willingness to apply sourcing knowledge to real recruitment projects.
• Ability to commit to a one-month internship.

Skills & Competencies

• Understanding of candidate sourcing tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of Boolean search methodologies.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent willingness to learn and receive feedback.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
