Overview / Job Description

WorkFlex is seeking an experienced Visa and Immigration Lead to join its fully remote Compliance team. As a fast-growing European HR technology startup, WorkFlex provides a platform that automates compliance and duty of care for business travel, workations, and international assignments.

This role is responsible for transforming complex global visa and immigration regulations into scalable compliance frameworks, structured workflows, and platform-ready logic. The successful candidate will also serve as a subject matter expert for clients and internal teams, ensuring compliance requirements are implemented accurately across international jurisdictions while supporting the company’s technology-driven approach.

Responsibilities

Visa & Immigration Compliance

• Research and interpret global visa and immigration regulations
• Translate complex compliance requirements into structured rules and decision trees
• Develop system-ready compliance logic for cross-border work scenarios
• Ensure regulatory requirements are applied accurately across multiple countries and edge cases
• Maintain ownership of visa and immigration compliance frameworks

Compliance Framework & Process Design

• Design standardized and compliant operational workflows
• Document compliance processes and procedures
• Develop scalable, repeatable compliance methodologies
• Support automation initiatives by converting regulations into platform logic

Operations & Internal Support

• Provide expert guidance to the Operations team on visa and immigration matters
• Resolve complex regulatory and compliance challenges independently
• Support the execution of day-to-day compliance operations
• Improve internal compliance processes and documentation

Client Success & Commercial Support

• Conduct visa and immigration consultations during the sales process
• Support after-sales and customer success engagements
• Explain compliance solutions to prospective and existing clients
• Build client confidence through expert regulatory guidance
• Balance compliance accuracy with scalable platform delivery

Requirements

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in visa and immigration compliance
• Corporate immigration experience is an advantage
• Experience researching and interpreting international immigration regulations
• Experience developing compliance frameworks and operational processes
• Experience supporting client-facing compliance discussions
