Catch Creation is a remote-first global eCommerce company that builds, grows, and manages online brands through creativity, data-driven strategies, and customer-focused experiences.

The company is seeking a Web Developer – E-Commerce & Internal Tools to build scalable eCommerce solutions, develop internal business tools, and manage integrations across multiple platforms. This full-time remote role is open to developers ranging from junior to senior level and focuses on Shopify development, API integrations, internal dashboards, and automation that improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working independently while collaborating closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Web Development & Shopify

• Build and maintain custom Shopify Plus themes and backend customizations
• Develop features using Shopify Liquid, Shopify APIs, and Checkout Extensibility
• Improve website functionality, performance, and user experience
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the eCommerce platform

Internal Tools & Business Systems

• Develop and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and reporting systems
• Build solutions that improve decision-making for marketing and operations teams
• Create scalable internal applications that enhance business productivity

API Integrations & Data Pipelines

• Build and maintain integrations between Shopify, third-party services, and internal systems
• Develop API integrations with fulfillment providers, marketplaces, analytics platforms, and business tools
• Design and maintain data pipelines that consolidate data across advertising, fulfillment, and sales platforms
• Ensure reliable data flow between multiple business systems

Collaboration & Project Delivery

• Work directly with marketing, creative, and operations teams to identify business needs
• Prioritize and deliver technical projects with measurable business impact
• Collaborate with leadership to develop scalable technical solutions

Requirements

Experience

• Experience in modern web development
• Experience building REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus is preferred
• Experience with eCommerce platforms and operations is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in HTML
• Proficiency in CSS
• Strong JavaScript skills
• Backend development experience with Python, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Knowledge of third-party system integrations
